Presagen’s behavior-based technology creates software that mimics human behavior

Presagen uses behavioral AI technology that emerged from the defense industry to automate complex human behavior which is difficult or not possible with mainstream AI techniques that use machine learning, like IBM’s Watson and Google’s DeepMind.

“Machine learning is a powerful AI technique that learns patterns in data, and is suited to data intensive applications like image and speech recognition, and search. However, we found in defense that even for simple tasks that are non-repetitive, machines needed human-like reasoning and intelligence, which is too difficult to achieve with learning or mathematical techniques” said co-founder Dr Don Perugini.

Presagen’s technology can predict human behavior of a population of consumers to over 90% accuracy, without using historical sales or personal customer data, and predominantly uses publicly available data and research.

“Our aim is to automate human-centric tasks, not displace jobs. People are working more hours than ever in an increasingly complex and open work environment with more data, people, and tasks to deal with. Many of those manual tasks and processes can be delegated to software to allow people to do what they do best – the creative aspects of their jobs”.
