The Witterswil Technology Center offers both start-ups and established companies in the life sciences a modern, flexible infrastructure with laboratories, offices and production facilities tailored to their needs.
The rural research area in Solothurn’s Leimental has a long tradition in terms of innovation and technology, having emerged from the Novartis agrobiological research station. After the structural change in the chemical industry in the greater Basel area and the emergence of the cross-border “BioValley”, there is still a great need for laboratory and office space with modern infrastructure.
The Technologiezentrum Witterswil wants to make a contribution to this new growth and sees itself primarily as a contact point for start-ups and spin-offs in the life sciences sector, which are offered an existing and affordable infrastructure for their start-up phase.
The bright, light-flooded areas (a total of 3,600 m2) are ready for immediate occupancy. The current layout includes 13 individual offices, some of which are equipped as meeting rooms. Layout and interior design adjustments are possible by arrangement.
The additional infrastructure includes a spacious break area with a modern tea kitchen as well as a server room, printer rooms, men’s and women’s toilets. Up to 40 outdoor parking spaces can be rented on request.
