We are pleased to announce the receipt of a substantial grant from the Canton of Lucerne and the Federal Government. This grant will enable LAC² to establish an AI Hub in the city of Lucerne, creating a dynamic ecosystem that nurtures AI innovation, fosters collaboration, and provides a platform for AI enthusiasts, startups, and industry leaders to connect, share knowledge, and drive advancements in Artificial Intelligence.
The grant, generously awarded by the Canton of Lucerne and the Federal Government (New Regional Policy, NRP), showcases their commitment to supporting technological advancement and fostering the growth of AI initiatives in the region. With this funding, LAC² will build a thriving community of AI enthusiasts in Lucerne and create an environment conducive to AI-driven progress.

The AI Hub will offer a wide range of benefits to its members. A coworking space equipped with Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and a diverse range of AI events, including interactive workshops and seminars, will offer invaluable opportunities for knowledge acquisition, networking, and keeping pace with the latest advancements in the field. Members will have access to a wealth of expertise through mentorship programs and expert-led training sessions, enabling them to enhance their AI skills and knowledge.
Collaboration opportunities will flourish within the AI Hub, fostering partnerships among members and facilitating joint projects that push the boundaries of AI innovation. The Hub will also feature an AI Sandbox, a dedicated space where members can test and experiment with their AI projects, encouraging hands-on learning and exploration.
Additionally, the AI Hub will empower collaboration on AI-related opportunities, connecting talented individuals with organizations seeking AI expertise. This initiative aims to support the growth of the local AI talent pool, attract skilled professionals to the region, and strengthen the overall AI ecosystem.
